Our foundational read. We'll walk through Haidt's four norms and learn about what our families would like to lean into this year. Trade screens for sticks and pinecones. We'll hike the trails and take on a winter scavenger hunt with older kids leading the way for the younger ones — then warm up with hot chocolate.

640 acres made for mixed-age adventuring: a playground for the littles, wooded trails and a pond for the explorers, and wide-open meadows perfect for an impromptu game of kickball. We close the year with a potluck lunch to celebrate our community's first year together and swap ideas for the next one. Bring your favorite field games, siblings, neighbors, bubbles, and plenty of energy for a fun afternoon.
